Join the Teacher Education Interest Section for their latest virtual event, Building School Readiness: Working with Developmentally Delayed Multilingual Children and their Families with guest speaker Christina Auth.
This talk provides an overview of the Maryland Infants and Toddlers Program (MITP) program, the challenges in preparing developmentally-delayed multilingual children for school readiness, and recommendations for K-12 classroom teachers.

About Christina Auth: Christina Auth is an English Language Development/Early Childhood educator working in the Maryland Infants and Toddlers Program (MITP). She holds a master’s degree in early childhood special education (John Hopkins University), a graduate certificate in bilingual special education (George Washington University), and an undergraduate degree in early childhood education (Towson University). Christina also holds advance professional certificates in special education and ESOL.
