National History Day for ELs

History Day (also known as National History Day or NHD) is a project-based learning curriculum paced out over several months that has middle and high school students investigate a topic of their choice, explain its significance in history, and present their findings in one of five creative formats. Maryland Humanities will introduce this curriculum to ESOL teachers and to social studies teachers with ELs in their classes for the 2021-2022 school year.
